4 ANNUAL EVENTS


  1. Reb chip week

We will celebrate the people who are have been substance free for 2 yrs and more by handing them new chirps. 

Date: 28 October 2022

Venue: CTDC hall 

Time: 3pm-5pm

2. Bake off

A bake-off is a family-friendly fundraising event that’s sure to get the whole community involved! Encourage volunteers to make their best cakes and pastries and bring them to your event. Give them individual stations where they can offer attendees samples. To raise money, charge a small admission fee for guests

Time: 1pm- 7pm

Money raised from bake off will be used to help with resources for the organization. 

3. Paint Run

Paint runs put a colorful twist on the classic 5K. The runs are popular on social media for their fantastic photo opportunities! Have participants sign up.

notice: only people who have been sober fpr at least 6 months will be allowed at the event

4. Multicultural fair

Multicultural fairs are a great opportunity for us to exhibit our supporters’ diversity to break the stigma. Plus, everyone will get to respectfully learn more about unfamiliar cultures in their community.

We hosted a small gathering for everyone who comes to the center, the goal for this was to show everyone that they are not alone. PRESS RELEASE: YOUTH OUTREACH CAMPAIGN

  1 Roman Way, Cape Town, 06 August 2022, Our annual campaign aimed at the youth begins early this year.  The campaigns provide information about the prevalence and dangers of fentanyl, the risks and consequences of mixing drugs, the life-saving power of naloxone, and the importance of reducing stigma around drug use to support treatment and recovery.   '' This is all aimed  directly with young adults who reported using drugs, as well as peer recovery professionals, to develop the campaigns.
