4. SUCCESS STORY: ROAD TO RECOVERY

We hosted a small gathering for everyone who comes to the center, the goal for this was to show everyone that they are not alone. And there are plenty of ways to have fun without using drugs or alcohol.  The event was organised by our staff members and they did such an amazing job.    Whether you or someone you know is on the road to recovery or drugs, alcohol, abuse, or anger, you are never alone. We feel like one of the most important ways to help any recovery is having a great support system of people to help you through the journey. PRESS RELEASE: YOUTH OUTREACH CAMPAIGN

  1 Roman Way, Cape Town, 06 August 2022, Our annual campaign aimed at the youth begins early this year.  The campaigns provide information about the prevalence and dangers of fentanyl, the risks and consequences of mixing drugs, the life-saving power of naloxone, and the importance of reducing stigma around drug use to support treatment and recovery.   '' This is all aimed  directly with young adults who reported using drugs, as well as peer recovery professionals, to develop the campaigns.
